Healing your body, mind, and truth.
Are you suffering from the pains of the past, stress of the present, or fears of the future? You don’t have to go at it alone. I’m a therapist that specializes in trauma, addiction, and queer-affirming care; I can also help with other mental health challenges like depression, anxiety, grief, self-image, and more. I provide telehealth therapy for adults across Colorado, informed by evidence-based practices such as DBT, ACT, and EMDR. Let’s work together to comfort what hurts, find that sense of safety, and help you feel more at home within yourself.
❀ my practice ❀
I specialize in trauma therapy and addiction, and mainly work with adults from the LGBTQIA2S+ community, but you don’t need to have trauma or identify as LGBTQ+ to work with me!
(TW) Traumatic experiences or backgrounds I work with may include childhood abuse or neglect, bullying, domestic violence, physical or sexual assault, combat exposure, grief, discrimination, accidents, etc. I support all stages of trauma recovery, from active crisis to survival to fulfillment.
I help with other mental health conditions that may relate or intersect with trauma and addiction, such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship issues, identity exploration, and borderline personality “disorder”. It’s so important for us to respect how your challenges can influence one another from a holistic standpoint.
In treatment, I might use certain interventions to enhance your treatment, based on your unique needs. These may include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I am a trained provider of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well.
You will be cared for through a trauma-informed and identity-affirming lens always. We may take parts-based and sensorimotor approaches while exploring yourself. A parts-based perspective helps us understand and honor all the different sides of yourself without ignoring or repressing them. A sensorimotor approach creates safety around the responses your body and nervous system may have resulting from emotional or mental distress.
Currently, I am only offering individual and telehealth therapy for residents of Colorado. If I feel like a good fit, I'd love to talk through what you're needing right now, and I am available for phone consultations. I’m really looking forward to meeting you!
✿ my mission ✿
Blossom Trauma Therapy is committed to providing person-centered and holistic services to adults with histories of trauma. My practice is dedicated to ensuring therapy remains nurturing and non-judgmental, that it becomes a space of unconditional safety and trust for individuals who may not have this elsewhere. I work as a source of guidance and companionship for those that fight for reconnection, empowerment, and authentic healing of self, in all realms of wellness. This practice will continue to be a space that prioritizes ethical and accessible care, advocacy for marginalized and oppressed communities, and respect for all backgrounds and identities. This practice remains unwaveringly anti-genocide, anti-bigotry, anti-fascist, and anti-classist/capitalist.
“If I have been of service,
if I have glimpsed more of the nature and essence of ultimate good,
if I am inspired to reach wider horizons of thought and action,
if I am at peace with myself,
it has been a successful day.”
